Terms of Use
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Pasado CSE Reviewer ("we", "us") about using the app and its content. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
In short
Pay once and use the reviewer for your own study. Do not copy or resell the questions. The app helps you prepare but cannot promise that you will pass, and official exam information always comes from the Civil Service Commission. Your rights as a consumer under Philippine law stay with you.
Who may use the app
The app is for people preparing for the Career Service Examination. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the app and make purchases with the permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the store account and the device you use.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the app on phones and tablets you own or control and to use it for your own, non-commercial review, following these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.
The app is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights we do not expressly give you.
Full Access: one-time payment
The app is free to download. After a short setup, the reviewer opens with a one-time Full Access purchase. Full Access unlocks all current questions, mock exams and notes, plus future content updates for the app while we offer them, with no subscription and no automatic charges.
The price, including any taxes the store adds, is shown in the app and on the payment screen of Google Play or the App Store before you confirm. Payment is handled entirely by the store.
Your purchase belongs to the Google Play or Apple account you used. Tap Restore purchase to unlock it again on another phone or after reinstalling, as long as you use the same store account. Google Play and the App Store are separate stores, so a purchase made on Android does not unlock the app on an iPhone, and a purchase made on an iPhone does not unlock it on Android.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies, and you can request one from them directly. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but if something is wrong with the app, email us and we will help. If a purchase is refunded, cancelled or reversed, Full Access is removed from the app.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) or other laws that cannot be waived by agreement.
Using the app fairly
Please do not: copy, scrape, export, publish, sell or share the questions, explanations or notes (for example in reviewers, review centers, groups, websites or videos); share or resell your Full Access; get around the purchase, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it; or use the app in a way that breaks the law or harms the app or other people.
You may share your Pasado card and occasional screenshots on social media for personal, non-commercial use.
Our content
All questions, explanations, notes, illustrations, the Pasi mascot, the Pasado name and logo, and the app itself are original works owned by the developer and protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293) and other laws.
Names such as "Civil Service Commission", "Career Service Examination" and "CSE-PPT" are used only to describe the examination the app helps you prepare for. They do not mean that the Commission endorses the app.
If you send us suggestions or corrections, we may use them to improve the app without any obligation to you.
Accuracy and no guarantee of passing
The app is a study aid. Results in the app, including the readiness estimate and mock exam scores, are estimates and do not predict or guarantee your result in the actual examination, your eligibility or any job.
We work hard to keep every question, explanation and exam detail accurate and up to date, but mistakes can happen and the Civil Service Commission or the law can change things. Always confirm official details with the CSC. If you spot an error, please tell us so we can fix it.
Changes and availability
We may update the app to fix errors, follow changes to the exam, add or change content and features, or keep it working with new phone systems. We try to keep the app available and working, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that it will run on every phone or old system version.
If we ever stop offering the app, we will try to give notice in the app or on our website. Content already on your phone keeps working offline for as long as your phone and the store allow.
Limits of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without promises beyond those in these terms and those the law requires.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed exam, an exam result, a lost job opportunity or lost study data, and our total responsibility for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for Full Access.
These limits do not apply to liability for fraud, bad faith or gross negligence, or to any liability that Philippine law does not allow to be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by copying the content or getting around the purchase, we may end your licence, and Full Access may stop working on a modified or pirated copy of the app.
Apple App Store
If you got the app from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app does not conform to a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Apple is not responsible for handling claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims. If someone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Apple’s Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply.
Google Play
If you got the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and purchase. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, the law or the stores’ rules change. The new version will appear in the app and on our website with a new date. Important changes will be pointed out in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you may stop using it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If there is a problem, please email us first so we can try to settle it within 30 days. If we cannot, either of us may bring the matter to the proper courts or agencies of the Philippines, and you may also seek help from the Department of Trade and Industry.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.
